Cornwall Video Postcard from the Water

The coastline of Cornwall offers some stunning scenery. See it from the water for a completely different aspect.

As you might expect from a county surrounded by water on three sides, the choice of water sports and opportunities to get out and about on the water is almost endless. For thrill-seekers, there are exhilarating RIB tours, speedboat trips, inflatable rides and daredevil coasteering. For those who prefer a more sedate pace, there are opportunities to charter boats for the day, or to join a deep-sea fishing trip. From bases such as Watergate Bay, you can try your hand at almost any water sport you can imagine – surfing, wakeboarding, sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, wave skiing, sea kayaking and more.

A little further up the coast at Padstow on the north coast or Falmouth on the south coast, budding wildlife experts will also enjoy sea safaris with plenty of chances to look for wildlife that may be in the waters. A huge array of species visit the area including dolphins, seals, whales, seabirds and basking sharks.  Whilst seeing all of these amazing animals can never be guaranteed, Cornwall’s coastal waters offer the perfect environment for pods of dolphins, groups of seals, basking sharks and whales.
