Stay at Green Acres, just 3 miles from Eden
THIS OFFER HAS NOW EXPIRED

Winter Festival

28 November – 3 January
Winter activities throughout Eden will change throughout the festival. Last year’s events included a chance to walk through the Enchanted Rainforest where the team from the Wildworks Theatre Company bought memories of Christmas alive with soundscapes, special lighting and installations. Reindeer hats, custom-made gift tags, candy can mice and elf hats could be made in the Christmas Craft Workshop and the Eden Storytellers were busy in the Mediterranean Biome. There were also chances to listen to Cornish choirs, skate on the magical ice rink and taste some winter treats from the cafés.

4 nights from £179 this winter – includes 1 night FREE

The Eden Project has to be one of Cornwall’s most iconic landmarks and is located just 3 miles from Green Acres Cottages. Set in an old china clay pit, the eco project has won successive awards from around the world for its design, education and hands-on exhibits. Throughout the year there are crafts, activities and storytelling, often with themes. However, during the autumn and winter season, there are some extra special festivals.

Meet Father Christmas and his Reindeer

Various dates from 28 November – 24 December
No Christmas celebration would be complete without a visit from Father Christmas who will be stationed in a special tent with his elves in order to wrap and sort this year’s presents. He may need a hand though, especially with finding reindeer cubes around the gardens and biome. Children will then be treated to a story in front of the fire before meeting the man himself. Usual admission price plus £5 per child and £3 per adult. There are also early bird tickets available at a reduced cost for 28 and 29 November and 4 December. Tickets can be booked online.
